If it's a boy....

....we are going to name him Kai! Said like tie, but with a K. Here is a summary of some of the meanings. I have highlighted the ones that have special meaning to us. Allen's dad is Hmong and my mom is from Northern Ireland. I don't think we could have picked ANY other name where Hawaiian, Ireland and Hmong are mentioned in the same summary!!! The only ones we are missing are Texas and Oklahoma!

I found this b/c of the Hawaiian meaning for ocean. When Allen and I lived in Hawaii, we would sometimes go out to the cliffs and just sit and watch the ocean.

It has so much strength and vitality.

All of these traits are what I wish for our baby (boy or girl).

Even though the majority of people think BK is a girl, I have a feeling it's a boy. I don't know if that is just because I want a boy or if pregnant women just get an intuitive feeling about stuff like that. We'll see in approximately 1 month!!

We cannot think of a middle name so I was hoping y'all could help with ideas. We can't have a middle name that starts with a K sound b/c then the initials would just be offensive. Post a comment if you have any middle name ideas.
